Doctor Hermsen is working hard on her recovery from the brain haemorrhage. Improvements are visible, but she has a long way to go. In the rehabilitation center she receives different therapies every day. These vary from occupational therapy, physiotherapy, hydrotherapy and speech therapy to participation in the so-called communication group and walking group. She is well cared for and in the weekends she is at home. She is expected to return home for good at the end of October, beginning of November 2022. This’ll be followed by a trajectory of outpatient therapy.
Dr. Hermsen is overwhelmed with your expressions of sympathy. They touch her deeply and support her in the long way she has to go. She is also touched by your attentions and she doesn’t know how to thank you all personally. In any case, she would like to let you know in advance that she is very grateful to you. Her motto is and remains: ‘No surrender!’
